Julie Lewis is an associate attorney at Liane Ly Law, where she represents employees in individual employment law matters, including sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation. Her practice is grounded in a deep commitment to advocating for workers who have been mistreated in the workplace.
Ms. Lewis graduated summa cum laude with an Associate of Science in administration of justice before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in legal studies. After graduating, she gained early experience at a class action employment law firm, where she worked closely with the partner who now leads Liane Ly Law. This formative experience sparked her dedication to protecting employee rights and set the foundation for her career.
Ms. Lewis earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where she was recognized on the Dean’s Honors List (Spring 2025). During law school, she competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Team for two years and served as the ADR Coordinator for the Moot Court Honors Board, reflecting her strong advocacy skills and commitment to excellence in dispute resolution.
During law school, Ms. Lewis broadened her legal experience through public interest work with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and hands-on work in family law. No matter the practice area, she consistently returned to employment law, driven by her passion for holding employers accountable and securing justice for employees.
Today, she continues that mission by representing workers who have experienced harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or other unlawful treatment. She is committed to ensuring her clients’ voices are heard and that they receive the remedies they deserve.
